October 2025 – Fifteen local businesses across Okanogan, Chelan, Douglas, Grant, and Adams counties have each been awarded investment grants up to $5,000 from the Washington State Department of Commerce, distributed through SkillSource Regional Workforce Board.

These business grants are designed to support business startup, recovery, or growth. Due to limited funding, eligible applicants were those who engaged in the first round of Community  Reinvestment funded workshops, networking events and business growth & resilience seminars.
